Order terms

1. General

These Terms govern ordering the Barnex Lite device through barnex.io. By leaving a request you confirm that you have read them and agree. The terms are the same for every customer.

The seller and its details (full name, registration code, address) are shown on the invoice we send after the order is confirmed.

2. How ordering works

A request on the site is an enquiry to buy Barnex Lite at the price of 2999 UAH. You enter your name, phone, email and a Nova Poshta branch or parcel locker.

We do not ask for payment when you submit the request: this is an order with no prepayment. Then we contact you (phone or email), check compatibility with your inverter and send an invoice.

The sales contract is concluded when you have received our invoice and paid it.

3. Price and payment

The price of Barnex Lite is 2999 UAH. Delivery is paid at the carrier's rates. The price on the invoice is the same as on the site when you made the request.

You pay by the invoice we send after contacting you. Until you pay you owe us nothing and can decline without giving a reason.

4. Time to ship

Devices are in stock, so we ship the order right after payment. Delivery by Nova Poshta takes extra time.

If we cannot make it, we will tell you. If the new date does not suit you, you can cancel and get your money back in full.

5. Delivery

We ship with Nova Poshta within Ukraine to the branch or parcel locker you chose in the request. Delivery costs follow Nova Poshta's rates.

Check the device when you receive it. If you see damage, draw up an act at the branch and write to us.

6. Cancellation before shipping

Before payment you can simply not pay the invoice or write to us that you decline.

After payment and before shipping you can cancel the order without giving a reason: we refund the amount paid in full no later than 14 days after you contact us.

7. Returns after receiving

You can return the device within 14 days after receiving it, in line with the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Protection". The device must be complete and show no signs of use that spoil its appearance.

To return it, write to hello@barnex.io with your order number. We refund after receiving the device, no later than 14 days after you contact us. The cost of return shipping is paid by the buyer.

8. Warranty and defects

The warranty period is 1 year. The warranty terms are stated on the invoice and accompanying documents before shipping. These terms do not limit your statutory rights if the product has defects.

9. Testing

The "I want to take part in testing" box promises you nothing and does not oblige you. If we invite you to testing, we will agree the conditions (feedback, timing) with you separately.

10. Specifications and compatibility

The description, specifications and compatibility list (inverters, EV chargers, limits) are on the site's Features and Compatibility pages. Features may be refined and updated through firmware.

Before the invoice we check whether Barnex Lite fits your inverter. If it does not, we cancel the order and you lose nothing.

11. Safety

Barnex Lite runs on USB-C 5 V and is not connected to 230 V mains. Any connection to power lines (for example a boiler through Barnex Node) must be done by a qualified electrician.

12. Personal data

We collect your name, phone, email, Nova Poshta branch address and your wishes. We use them to contact you, confirm compatibility, send the invoice and ship the order, and, with your consent, to invite you to testing.

We pass the recipient's data (name, phone, branch) to Nova Poshta for shipping. The payment provider receives the data needed to pay the invoice. We do not pass data to anyone else.

We keep data as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet legal requirements. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data: hello@barnex.io. The site uses Google Analytics.

13. Liability and force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure, including military action, power or network outages and carrier failures. We will tell you about such circumstances as soon as we learn of them.

14. Changes and contacts

We may update these Terms: the current version is always on this page, and an earlier order stays under the terms valid on the day of the request.
